Schofield, John C.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2020 John Charles Schofield “Jack”, devoted husband and father of four children passed away at age 85.

Jack was born on August 4, 1935 to John Edward and Florence Myers Schofield where he attended St Mary’s High School. He graduated LeMoyne college in Syracuse, NY, served in the Air Force, and had a  career as a marketing executive in Milltown, NJ and later in Rochester, NY. Jack married Corrine “Teenie” Kelly Schofield  and raised four children, Elizabeth, Susan, Maria and John.

Jack had a love for music and a encyclopedic memory for “old tunes” that he used to entertain his friends and family. He had a passion for history and the news of the day, often providing sage analysis and a touch of

advice. Jack was a natural athlete who excelled at running, basketball and golf.

Jack is preceeded in death by his wife, Corrine. He is survived by his four children, eight grandchildren and one great grand child and his sister, Mary Lynn.

Services will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers Jack would encourage donations to the Egypt, NY Fire Department at www.egyptfd.org or Lollypop Farm at www.lollypop.org.
