Frank J Pavia 78 passed away peacefully Monday March 13, 2023. Predeceased by parents Ben and Hilda Pavia, brothers Peter and Ben Pavia, son in law Gary Parisi.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 57 year, Annemarie. Sister Rose Pavia
4 children Frank (Lisa), Keith (Dorothy), Stacia, Melissa (Matt)
7 grandchildren, Caitlin, Hilary, Casey (Tayna), Justin, Nathan, Ryan, Grayson
Step grandchildren Nikki, Brittany, Christopher, Brandon, Tyler
Great daughter Maura Ann
Many cousins, nieces, and nephews
Family was the most important thing to Frank. Cars and Cruise nights were his passion. When Frank couldn’t bowl anymore, he enjoyed coaching his children and grandchildren. Frank loved to travel when he was able. Frank loved talking with many friends mostly about cars. Frank also enjoyed some trips to the Casino.
Funeral Mass Friday March 17, 2023 10:30AM at Our Lady of Lourdes 150 Varinna Dr, Rochester.

Dear Annemarie and Family: My sincerest condolences on the death of Frank. I have very fond memories of him when we visited Uncle Benny and Aunt Hilda so many years ago. and when the family came to Ottawa. May he rest in peace and may God grant you strength and peace during this difficult time.
Frank was a great man who was a joy to carpool with for many Ginna outages.. Inevitably many conversations turned to his family which he was most proud of..

He watched his sons Keith, and Frank Jr. and my son Michael play baseball together and then football at Fairport H.S. Frank was always there to cheer his sons on and was involved with coaching for several years at the little league fields in Fairport. I remember to this day his passion for sports. Thank you for the memories, Frank. Rest in peace and may God bless your family at this time of mourning.

Some of my best years were spent at Ginna from 1979-1984 with Frank and Chuck Mitrano always there for a joke, a smile, and fantastic golf tournaments and dinners. He was a wonderful man and may the memories he created and his sense of humor live on in our hearts. Sincerest condolences to his family who I know he held near and dear.

Frank was a good friend and coworker. It was a pleasure being part of a bowling team with him as it was one of his passions in life. Golf on the other was not, but we had a lot of laughs playing that too. You will be missed my old friend and are now forever in the wind.

Dear Mrs. Pavia, Stacia and family – Frank was an amazing and remarkable man. He loved his family, his friends and his community. I will miss his wonderful stories and all the laughs he brought me every time I saw him. I am so sad with his passing, but I want you all to know how much he was loved by me and my staff at Penfield Family Medicine. Annemarie and family-so sorry for your loss. Frank was a great man. Loved his spirit as a ball player, football advocate who was a Red Raider and Redskins super fan. Frank has a legacy inside RG&E for his leadership to direct a diverse team of skilled workers from many RG&E departments to inspect and repair Ginna Station steam generators under challenging conditions. He had immense respect from all he worked with throughout the nuclear industry. Martha and my prayers are with you all and may Frank rest in peace. God bless you all.
Frank was a truly great guy. Such a good and decent person. I will always be thankful for his friendship and the great times we great together.
I work under Franks leadership at Ginna station I only have admiration and respect when thinking of him my thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time.
