Pittsford

September 12, 1943 – November 25, 2020

This beloved life long resident of the Village of Pittsford left us suddenly on November 25, 2020 and will be terribly missed by all.

Survived by his daughter, Colleen (Patrick) Warren; son, Patrick (Michelle) Dwyer; grandson, Liam Dwyer; granddaughter, Lena Dwyer; sisters, Diane Luke and Jeanne Alexander; many nieces and nephews; and hundreds of friends.

Patrick joined the Pittsford Fire Department in May of 1964 and remained an active member and a current employee of the fire district. During that time he proudly served as Chief from 1983-1984,  and as President from 2006-2007.

Patrick was a proud retiree of the IBEW local 86, where he began his career as an electrician through an apprenticeship at age 18.

An avid lover of vintage cars, you would often see him around Pittsford in his 1957 Chevy, that he worked tirelessly to restore over the years with the help of his car buddies.

Funeral Mass Saturday December 5th at 1PM at St. Louis Church Pittsford. It will also be livestreamed at https://stlouischurch.org/live Private Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the Pittsford Fire Department.

I am greatly saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. He was an excellent electrician, it was always good to see him come on the job. I enjoyed spending time with “Patty O’ “in Ireland, on our trip with the Dady Brothers. He selflessly gave much of himself to family, friends and our community. I put our flag at half-mast in his honor. My condolences to his family, he led a good life and will rest in peace.
