Warren, Lester H.

Fairport: Formerly of Mount Kisco, N.Y. On April 13 at age 98, went to be with the Lord, his loving wife, Helen, his parents, C. Edward & Evivia, his great-grandson, Caleb Warren, and his sister, Dorothy. Survived by his two children, Jean (Paul) Jacoby and Calvin (Sue Ritter) Warren; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Christopher) Yeh, Kristin (Dave) Yusko, Erik (Debbie) Jacoby, Dawn (Andy) Lucas, Matt (Diane) Warren, Bradley (Marissa) Warren, Lindsay (Christopher) Jones; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Lester was born November 25, 1914, and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. He graduated from college with a degree in engineering and worked for IBM for 30 years.

In 1939, Les married Helen Gundersen. They enjoyed golfing, spending summers at the Cape and winters in Florida, watching Broadway shows and traveling to Europe. Family was always a top priority for Les and Helen and several times each year they traveled to or hosted family gatherings. Les
loved playing golf and was an avid fan of the Yankees. He will be remembered for his story telling and quick wit.

Friends may call Thursday 1:00-2:00 PM at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 41 S. Main 51., (Fairport Village Location). A Prayer Service will follow at 2:00PM. Donations may be made to the Fairport Baptist Home or Lifetime Care Hospice, Rochester, N.Y. A special thank you to the staff at
