Cindy graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School and enjoyed many afternoons drinking cherry Cokes at Hicks and McCarthy. She was active in her alumni class and chaired several reunions including her 50th. She was a graduate of Cazenovia College and during her career worked at URMC, Xerox, UR Athletic Department and the Pittsford Mendon High School Library.

She was an avid gardener and belonged to the Giving Tree Garden Club and the GV Hosta Society.

Cindy is enrolled in the Monroe County Sesquicentennial Pioneer Register as a descendant of a Monroe County resident prior to 1834.

Despite this long time connection to the Rochester area, Cindy and her family lived for a time in Northern California and in Epsom, Surrey, England where she amused herself with the expatriate community with the “3 Bs”- bowling, brass rubbing and bridge along with thoroughbred horse racing.

She enjoyed travel to warm places including Hawaii, Bermuda, Captiva and the Caribbean. She was a regular snorkeler and when not in the water could be found on the tennis courts.

As part of a boating family she enjoyed many days on the Finger Lakes. She was a member of the Iroquois Sail and Power Squadron.

As part of a skiing family she could often be found looking after hats, mittens and tissues at resorts from the Alps to Lake Tahoe and especially at Ski Valley Ski Club.

Per her request there will be no service. Burial at the convenience of the family on the Nature Trail at White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions can be made in Cindy’s name to the garden club of your choice.
