Schwartz, Sudie Mae

Fairport: January 16, 2018. Sudie Mae Schwartz 87, passed peacefully into eternal rest at Fairport Baptist Homes, surrounded by her loving family on January 16, 2018. Sudie was  a devoted wife, loving mother, compassionate grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Elmer and Clara Manley, and her brothers Winford and Bobby. Sudie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Harold Schwartz and her children; John (Linda) Schwartz, Jim (Julie) Schwartz, Janice (Ken) Sumner, Judi (Matt) Bauerlein. Sudie leaves a legacy of 8 grandchildren; JJ (Theresa) Schwartz, Tiffany (Adam) Wagner, Jason (Lindsey) Schwartz, Jamie Schwartz, Rachel (Michal) Durik, Christina (Kenney) Rue, Josh Bauerlein and Lauren Bauerlein. Also 13 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way this year; Abi & Max Schwartz; Keegan, Zoey and Alanna Wagner, Nora and Billy Schwartz; Noah, Chloe, and Oliver Durik; Braydon, Makenna and Jordan Rue, Baby Optis, Baby Durik, and Baby Schwartz. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Mullenix and Betty (Ellison) Whitt.

Sudie was a registered nurse, that practiced in many different areas of nursing. She deeply valued her Christian faith and lived a life of virtue and Truth  with “Her life more precious than rubies” (Proverbs 31:10). She also enjoyed gardening, crafting, holidays, music, the beach and sunsets. Sudie was most known for her love of her family, whom she absolutely adored, and they adored her.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 19, at 11AM at Fairport Baptist Homes Chapel.
