Victor: November 26, 2014. Predeceased by husband, Phil; daughter, Katie; 2 brothers, Bill and Paul Galland. She is survived by 3 sons, Sean (Kim), Erik and Kurt; 8 grandchildren, Zachary, Whitney, Joey, Macayla, Morgan, Oliviah, Erinn and Maddox; 1 great-grandchild of Mark; 1 brother, Owen Galland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
No prior calling. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Macedon. Interment Macedon Cemetery. Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 310 Packetts Landing, Fairport, NY 14450.

Jackie was a classmate of mine at Our Lady of Mercy High School. After that we moved on married, had our families and then began seeing each other at the Pediatrician’s Office, Elmwood Pediatrics. I met her boys and little Katie at that office so many years ago. Jackie was so proud of her children.
I have many wonderful memories of times spent with Jackie during our teens.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Jackie loved you all so very much.
I am one of her grandchildren. I know she loves us.
I was on my way to see her when we heard that she only had 24 hours to live. And when we were in Pennsylvania, only 3 hours away, my father called me and said she passed. Me and my sisters did not take it very well. It took us so long to get to New York because we live in North Carolina. And because there was bad weather. My dad said that she faught and faught until she couldn’t fight no more. She did not quit. And today, I believe that she is still here, with me and my family. And I will always remember our unforgettable memories.
I worked with Jackie at Smith Barney. She was such a sweet person and we shared many laughs together. To Jackie’s sons and families, I am so sorry for your loss. She was so proud of her family! I am shocked and saddened to hear of her passing.
I miss you grandma. I love you.
