Pittinaro, Earl

Fairport: October 20, 2012 at age 88 after a short illness. Earl was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Connie. Survived by his wife, Marianne; daughter Chris (Richard) Zachmeyer; brother Frank Pittinaro; step-children, Thomas, Robert, David and Nancy Ferrarone; several step-grandchildren; and many loving and devoted nieces and nephews.

Earl served as an Army Medic in WWII from June 8, 1942 – February 19, 1946. Born in Fairport, Earl was a devoted Parishioner at the Church of the Assumption. He was active in the town being a founding member of the Paisano Club and the Fairport Chamber of Commerce. He was owner and operator of Earl’s Liquor Store for over 40 years. He was a Wine Connoisseur Sommelier. Earl was also known for his love of Italian cooking and candy making. He had a love of the outdoors and spent many of his later years at his property in Italy Hill, NY. Earl’s love of life, family, his care for people and his wonderful laugh and humor will be greatly missed by all.

Calling hours Thursday 3-7 at the Egypt Location. Funeral Mass Friday 11:15 at the Church of the Assumption, Fairport. Entombment White Haven.

    I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing, but know this…he knew his little girl was there with him to the very end. As a father, that would bring me so much peace and satisfaction, and I am sure he felt the same. Chin up Chris!
