Nuijens, William Scott

Fairport: November 2, 2013. Scott has lost his difficult battle with brain cancer and now is in Heaven. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Elma and Robert Nuijens, Theron Barney and his parents, Paul and Catherine Nuijens. Scott is survived by his wife, best friend, care-giver and soul mate, Jean Marie Nuijens (Rogers); his son, Brandon Nuijens; the best mother-in-law, Jean Rogers; sisters, Debbie Moriarty and Karen (Andrew) Monahan; many brothers and sisters-in-law; and 10 wonderful nieces and nephews.

Above all things Scott loved being a Dad. He was an avid sports fan, loyal to the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. Scott’s work was very important to him. He enjoyed taking care of the patients he serviced for 5 years at Lincare before becoming sick.

Family and friends may call Friday, November 22nd from 4-7 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Egypt Location 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport. His Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, November 23rd at St. Joseph’s Church, Penfield at 1PM. There will be a private Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Crossing Hospice and Jaidon Manor for the treatment and care Scott received in Casa Grande, AZ.
