Sweet Shirley, full of gentleness and grace. May you (family) have quiet rest and fabulous memories of a lady who sparkled the world with her refined beauty and giggles of life. Her theatrics for the musical “Only Once” brought her to her true calling and we sure had fun in that venue. I know she is embracing all of us with embraces of love.

Wonderful memories of my dear Shirley – nights of tea drinking, sharing and laughter in Avon. I will forever hold you in my heart and give thanks for the lovely times we shared. My deepest sympathy to Carol, Randy, Karen and their families.

I was so very sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I met her when my friend moved into an apartment, one door down from hers, a year ago. I first met her when Dorothy had escaped from her apartment, and the two of them were walking down the hall side by side. I fell in love with Shirley immediately and we had many lovely conversations when I would visit my friend. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my lifetime and I will miss seeing her sweet smile and hearing her ask “how are you today, dear?” My deepest sympathies to her family. Sending prayers for healing as I know this leaves a huge hole in your hearts. I know she touched my heart and many others I’m sure.
