Meyer, Karen S. (Sergeant)

Fairport: April 2, 2016, at age 71, after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Survived by her husband of 48 years, David; children, Michelle (Mike) Zanche, and Peter (Rebecca) Meyer; grandchildren, Jason & Cassandra Zanche, Benjamin & Jacob Meyer; sister, Carol Chisholm; nephews, David & Gregg Chisholm; and cousins.

Karen was a pediatric nurse at Genesee Health Service for 30 years. She was a lifelong member of Twelve Comers Presbyterian Church, an avid crafter, and was involved in greyhound adoption.

Memorial Service will be held on May 13th, 4 PM at Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church (Brighton). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation of Greater Rochester, or Greyhound Adoption of Greater Rochester.
