Pittsford: Monday, October 16, 2017 peacefully at age 51 surrounded by her loving husband and 3 children. She is predeceased by her father-in-law, Sheriff Andrew P. Meloni; Survived by her husband, Dr. Stephen J. Meloni; son, Stephen; and 2 daughters, Mary Grace and Kathryn Meloni; Maisy her black lab; her wonderful parents, James and Ann Stebbins; her mother-in-law, Laura Meloni; she is also survived by love and support from her brothers, John (Noel) and Robert Stebbins; sister, Jennifer (John) Henry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrew (Laurie) Meloni, Michael (Nancy) Meloni, Philene Bean (Sam) Cromwell, Mary (Billy) Bowe and many loving nieces and nephews.
Susan devoted her own life to the service of others as a Registered Nurse and was an amazing mother, wife, sister and friend. Her joy came from being around others. She loved to walk around her neighborhood and to spend mornings chatting with her friends and family. Our amazing Susan lived her life with courage and dignity the past 2 1/2 years presented unique challenges. All of which she met with incredible strength. Susan’s smile, to the very end of her life, brought an amazing amount of comfort to all family and friends that had the privilege of being a part of her life. She will be missed dearly by her loving family and amazing friends. We would like to thank Dr. Aaron Olden and Katy Mousaw R.N./BSN.
Friends may call Friday, October 20, 2017 3-7PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd. Fairport, NY 14450. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 9:30AM at St. John Fisher College (The Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil The Great). Inurnment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Benincasa Hospice Care or the Wilmot Cancer Center in her memory.

    I had not seen Susan in many years, but very fondly remember her from working in the Strong MICU, We had started there at about the same time. Her smile is exactly the same as I remember. She was an excellent, role model nurse who was wonderful to her patients and colleagues. I am so sorry for your loss. Keeping your family in my prayers.
