Fairport: August 22, 2016 at age 100. Jim was predeceased in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Sally (Kleinkauf); daughters, Mary Anne, Patricia and Sally Marie Koch; son, Jack; brother, Dr. Jerry of DelRay Beach, FL; and sister, Anne of Brooklyn. He is survived by son, Dr. James (Janet) of Wauwatosa, WI; daughters, Peggy (Mark) Schmitt and Kathy; sister, Alice Hamm of Brooklyn; son-in-law, Chuck Koch; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Jim was born in Brooklyn. Earned a B.S. Degree from Niagara University and on April 1, 1941 was appointed as a Special Agent of the F.B.I. in the ensuing 28 years served that organization throughout the US and Canada as well as 6 years in several South American Countries. In 1969 he retired from the F.B.I. to accept the position as Director of Corporate Security for Lincoln First Banks of Rochester at which time his family moved to Fairport where he resided until his death.
