Fairport: 7/7/2014 at age 97. Predeceased by his wife, Ruth. Survived by son, Michael (Jill); daughter, Denise (Robert) Bayley; grandchildren, Justin (Leanne), Tyler (Sarah), Jonathan and Alex; and several nieces and nephews.
Gus loved his family, Cape Cod and the game of golf which he played regularly with his grand kids.
Private services were held. Interment,White Haven Memorial Park.

Dear Michael, Denise, and family,
My mom, who lives in Pittsford these days, let me know today that you lost your dear dad last week. What wonderful memories I have of him from our high school days! Funny and wry, smart and wise, too, and full of love for his family – and their friends. Of course, he’s taken up residence on the great golf course in the sky, but here on earth, he’s joined my dad at White Haven. In fact, I was just there last month when we were all celebrating my mom’s 90th birthday. A beautiful spot close to home for both great dads.
