Kevin grew up in Penn Yan, NY, where he graduated Penn Yan Academy in 1976, where his love of sports began playing Football, Baseball & most importantly his favorite sport of all- Basketball. Kevin continued on to Fredonia State University where he majored in business & continued his Basketball career, made many life time friends & most importantly found the love his life, Evelyn. Although Kevin was a year older than Evelyn he decided to stick around for an additional year where they both graduated in 1981.

After Kevin & Evelyn married on November, 28th 1981 they ventured down to New York City where they started their professional careers. While living in Queens, NY Kevin developed his love for St John’s Basketball & the Big East tournament that he attended annually. In 1984 they ventured back upstate to Rochester, NY where he started his career as a financial advisor & still call home to this day. They started their family in 1986 with the birth of their first daughter, Erin followed by their first son, John in 1987, Kelly in 1991 & finally Patrick in 1995.

While living in Fairport, NY they participated in many youth sports & activities that Kevin actively participated in whether coaching or supporting in the stands. In 1996 Kevin & Evelyn took over the Eastside Basketball Association- the local youth basketball program. Over the next 20+ years Kevin & Evelyn put their hearts & souls into the program changing the lives of countless children in our area. Kevin loved this program & every child that came through it like they were his own. The memories & great friends he met through the years meant everything to him.

Along with St. John’s Basketball- Kevin loved his family, friends, dogs, a correctly poured half & half, the Boss-Bruce Springsteen, Celtics, Mets, Steelers & Keuka Lake.

His uncanny ability to have a good time no matter his whereabouts was infectious & will be greatly missed by many.

Sláinte, until we meet again.
