To one of the finest men I have ever met . A man brave enough to serve his country with distinction and treat his family with the honor and respect they are deserving of. May the Lord bless you and keep you as your memories on earth will be eternal .
Tom was one of the nicest people that ever worked at Ginna station. He was always upbeat and willing to share his wisdom with fellow workers. He will be missed by everyone who were luck enough to be called his friend.
Jubes had a dry sense of humor so you had to pay attention or you would miss his comment. He loved his hockey whether playing or watching the Sabres along with the Bills. He always had a ready smile and an easy going personality. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace sailor.
Tom and I went to Navy Boot camp together in Orlando, Florida back in September 1978. Fair winds and following sea’s shipmate. See you in your next port of call.
Echoing the sentiments expressed here, Tom was one of those “quiet and unassuming” guys who had a positive impact on everyone he interacted with at Ginna station. Always quick with both his wit and a sincere smile, Tom was a highly respected member of the NRC licensed community at Ginna, and his thoughtful and knowledgeable contributions to Ginna will be greatly missed. May God hold you gently in the palm of His hand, Tom.
I was shocked at Tom’s passing. As he had hired me briefly to work on his diet and lifestyle, I knew he was being proactive about his health. My condolences to Marianne and his children.
Tom, Greg and I recently went to the magical Bills snow game against the Colts. It showcased some of his many great abilities: taking care of his family, spending time with friends, having fun despite the extreme conditions and supporting the Buffalo Bills. Going to miss you dear friend. Thanks for the many memories!
How many midnight shifts did we go thru together? How many outages side by side? You were a great copilot. Click! Going to miss your annual visits to Florida. Only the good die young. Condolences to all the Jubert family.
Tom was a good friend. We used to sit right next to each other and talked all the time about many things. He was a huge Bills fan and loved to talk about football. He really enjoyed playing hockey and would excitedly talk about it. He left this world doing something he loved. I will be unable to be at the services since I am leaving town tomorrow morning, but my thoughts and heart are with his family and friends. We miss him greatly, but see him again in the Eternities.
So very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Tom, I will be forever grateful that we had the opportunity to “shoot the breeze” last Thursday at Greg’s retirement party. I thank you for your friendship over the years, your dedication to family and friends and for being a great co-worker. I will cherish the memories of those “mid shift” phone calls. As stated in another post, may you have fair winds and a following sea.
