Fairport: Age 82, of Fairport, NY, passed away on November 8, 2017 at her home in Augusta, Ga, due to natural causes.

She was born in Brighton, NY on September 2, 1935; daughter of the late Lyle and Dorothy Cassan. Sue joins her beloved son, Peter Russell Jones in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Anne Todd; grandchildren, Vanessa Sue Brunson, Jamie Ann Todd, Alfred Colby Todd, Garrett Russell Todd; 4 great-granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; sister-in-law, Patricia Corbett and brother-in-law, John Felton. Sue graduated from Syracuse University, and enjoyed a credible and dedicated 30+ year career Teaching in the Fairport area. The numerous lives she has touched over the years will carry on forever. She will always be remembered for her untouchable kindness and affection.

Calling hours will be held at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport, NY on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 2 to 4PM A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Monday, November 13, 2017 in the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY. Friends and family are welcome to gather for the Service to celebrate the life of Sue Anne Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the NEA Foundation to keep Public Education a priority.
