Bill was endeared by many as a kind, caring friend, and man of strong faith, who had a passion for helping and serving others, in many ways, throughout his life. Born in Rochester, New York, and a graduate of Fairport High School and Monroe Community College.

Employed at Wegmans for 39 years, where he was a dedicated, loyal employee, and enthusiastic advocate of the company. He loved all sports, especially golf where he mentored many, and became known for dedicating every tournament to persons who were suffering with an illness or hardship, and grew many lasting friendships at Durand Eastman Golf club. He was an avid Yankees and Orangeman fan.

Known to many as a creative writer with family and friends as inspiration, composer of clever jingles, gifted impersonator of celebrities, and loved music of all genres. Both he and Phyllis enjoyed cooking and having family and friends over for a good meal and a “clink to good health”.

The family is forever grateful for the abundance of prayers and acts of love and kindness received from so many, these past several months.
