Glaze, Mildred B.

Fairport: Longtime resident of Fairport, NY, passed away at the Fairport Baptist Homes on Friday, March 17, 2017. Born on February 11, 1926, she was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna (Huta) Buso of Mottville, NY; her husband of 43 years, Donald Glaze; brother D. George Buso of Hyde Park, NY; and a niece, Kathryn Akers of Syracuse, NY.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Ronald) Stahley of Forestville, NY, Susan (Robert) Caruso of York, PA, Richard Glaze of Santa Fe, NM, and Sally (Ronald) Witter of Coburg, Germany, along with beloved grandchildren Robb, Vincent, Lauren, Angela, Michelle, Ryan, Johnny, Marcus, Sven, Alyssa, and their families, with adored great grandchildren; a sister, Irene Akers of Morrisville, NY, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

A special thanks to her caregivers from Fairport Baptist Homes, Hospice of Rochester, and Touching Hearts at Home. There will be no calling hours, with interment at the convenience of the family at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Pittsford, NY on Saturday, April 29, at 11 AM, with Pastor Paul Shoop officiating. The family will greet guests after the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Pittsford, NY, Fairport Baptist Homes, Fairport, NY, or Hospice of Rochester.
