Pittsford: Went home to be with Jesus on November 25, 2012 at the age of 26. Predeceased by grandfather Bill Massey and uncle George Massey. She is survived by her beloved fiancé Kody Huggins, loving parents Bob and Margaret Ferrarone, future father and mother-in-law, Jack and Tamara Huggins, brother, John Ferrarone (Maya Klauber), sister Laura Ferrarone, grandmothers, Cookie Kemp (Dave), Marianne Pittinaro, and Annette Massey, grandfather Henry Ferrarone, aunts Lillian Ferrarone, Linda Harris (Gordon), Christi Bravo (Paul), Nancy Ferrarone, Cindy Vadney (Scott), and Lynne Burke (Kevin), uncles Tom Ferrarone (Carol), David Ferrarone (Carol), many loving cousins, devoted lifetime friend Marian Brown, special caregiver Jackie Zimmer, many loving aides, and her long-time companions , her dog Belle and cat George.

Sara was sweet angel sent to us by God who truly changed the lives of anyone that was so richly blessed to know her. She graced us with her gentle spirit, compassion for others, zest for life, contagious laugh, a smile that warmed our hearts, and inspired us with her courage to face every challenge that came her way with amazing grace.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6:30-9:30PM, at the Egypt Location. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, 10AM at Browncroft Community Church, 2530 Browncroft Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance, P.O. Box 1537 Springfield, VA 22151 or the Foundation for a Miracle, 61 Evandale Road, Rochester, NY 14618.

The family would like to thank her long-time Pediatrician, Dr. Mary Beth Robinson, the many wonderful doctors and providers from the University of Rochester and her dedicated Neurologist, Dr. David Lynch from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Lastly, the family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the emergency room, Cardiac Care and Palliative Care units at Strong Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care for Sara.
