ELEANOR LEUER

Denver, CO (formerly of Fairport, NY), July 2, 2017 at the age of 86.  Predeceased by her beloved husband John and her parents Ernest and Tilly Dockweiler.  She is survived by her children John (Trish) Leuer of Newport Beach, CA; Kay Corbett (Dan) of Canandaigua, NY and Jeanne Ratchford (Sean) of Denver, CO as well as grandaughters Jackie and Jamie Corbett, sister-in-law Sister Jean Marie Leuer,  grandsons Jack and Brad (Kassie) Compton and three great granchildren.

Eleanor was a graduate of Fredonia State University and was a teacher in the Kenmore School District before raising her family.  A native of Buffalo, NY she learned to love the various cities she resided in throughout her lifetime including Syracuse, NY, Houston, TX, Fairport, NY and Denver, CO.  She loved to travel and also enjoyed music and the arts. Originally a music major at Fredonia, she was also a skilled pianist.  Above all Eleanor loved spending time with her family and friends and she will be missed by all those who loved her.

Calling Hours at St. John of Rochester Church Saturday, August 12^th 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass 10:00AM. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Eleanor’s name to Lollipop Farm 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620.
