I had the privilege of knowing your father for all too brief a time when he and Bob Havens (a former neighbor of mine in Mendon and fellow HF alumni) would come to Crabby Dan’s in Mendon for breakfast and join in the ‘chat’ for an hour or so. He truly cherished his family, delighted in his beautiful grandchildren and enjoyed talking about old Rochester ‘in the good ole days’. He became another member of the local breakfast scene and we all looked forward to their weekly stop.

The values he instilled in his family are the most cherished items you all will have forever to remember him and your mother. He was an honorable Irishman to the core and also provided Bob with a few years of hospitality and congeniality not often experienced today. You were all fortunate to have had him for so long.
