Fairport: July 7, 2014 passed away suddenly in his sleep at Saranac Lake, NY. He will be sadly missed by family, Saturday morning breakfast club and Saranac Lake Gang. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and James; 2 brothers, Michael and Kevin. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen (Henry) Delehanty; 2 sons, Daniel (Laura) and Sean; 1 daughter, Meghan (Davin) Reddington; 6 beloved grandchildren, Aidan, Maeve, Finn Delehanty, Callan, Ada and Hope Reddington; 2 brothers, Dennis and Andrew; 1 sister, Sheila Delehanty; several nieces and nephews. James was a US Army Veteran and retired from Otis Elevator Co. of 32 years.

Friends are welcome to call at the RICHARD H. KEENAN FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport (Egypt Location) Friday 4-8. Funeral Mass Saturday 11AM at St. John of Rochester, Fairport.     Please accept my condolences on the passing of Jim Delehanty. I was the building manager at the Sibley Building when I first met Jim. He was the District Manager for Otis. Jim was also a BOMA member and I would see him at meetings and BOMA social events. He always had a smile on his face, loved to talk, very friendly, and almost always had a story to tell. He was the life of the party at our social events. He was a great District Manager who always took care of problems. He was a very good friend. I will miss Jim and will always have fond memories of him. God Bless.
