Cousin Frank, I remember all the Savino Picnics we had back in the 70’s and 80’s and you always led us to the great baseball games. You were our favorite “Ump” and catcher. You were always a great mentor and kind person to me and my sister Karen. You had the best personality and laugher all the time. You made our picnics fun with your jokes and character. Gail, I always admired the relationship you two had together and Frank and Carla I saw how much of a great Dad he was to you both and wished my Dad was 1/2 as caring and loving as he was to you two. I will miss him and send you my sincerest condolences. He was a great man and we shall celebrate his goodness he gave us all!

My sincere condolences to Frank’s dear and loving family! You were blessed with a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and I was blessed with a forever friend. He touched so many lives by his loving and caring lessons that he taught everyday through his unconditional, loving role modeling. We will miss him for he shared so much love with all!

I had the privilege of being a student of “Mr. Cam” in 1981 at Minerva DeLand school. I’ve always remembered his unique and fun teaching style, as well as his great sense of humor. He even let my brother and me take the class guinea pig home one weekend. His classes have stuck with me throughout my life and in my career today. He will be missed…

I had a distinct privilege of having Mr. Camiola as my biology teacher at FHS. Pretty much single-handedly he was the reason I decided to study biology in college and go to medical school. To this day I think of this wonderful man – so full of life – from time to time. I learned of his death from google just today. He will be missed by all of us who have had the privilege of knowing him and whose lives he touched. Those who never knew him will never know who they missed.
