Burns, Evelyn (Schlesing)

Erie, PA: June 22, 2016. Born August 23, 1924. Preceded in death by her husband Robert S. Burns. Survived by two sons, Robert L., James R. (Donna) and daughter Becky B. (Mark) Holcomb, six grandchildren, Lori (Keith) Egresi, W. James Burns, Lisa Perry, Dawn (Jeff) Hildreth, David and Michelle Holcomb; six great grandchildren.
Evelyn was a charter member of the Perinton VFW Women’s Auxiliary since 1948, where she held many offices including that of President. Evelyn drove school bus and loved to bake pies, garden, golf, play cards and enjoy time with her family.

Calling hours Wednesday, June 29, from 10AM-11:30AM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road (Egypt location) Fairport, NY. Service immediately following w/Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Donations in Evelyn’s memory may be made to Perinton VFW Post 8495.
