Fairport: April 20, 2015. Peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Predeceased by parents Douglas and Frances (Hotchkiss) Little of Rush, NY. Survived by husband, Kenneth: children, Rachel (Chester) Englander, Amanda (Jonathan) Brin, Nathanael (Kierstyn) Brown: 7 grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Linda) Little and Thomas (Elizabeth) Little; sister, Jane (Calvin) Neureuther; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Anne grew up in Rush, NY and graduated from Rush-Henrietta High School in 1967.  She received a diploma in piano and cello from the Preparatory Department of the Eastman School of Music where she studied cello with Ronald Leonard and Alan Harris.
 
Anne earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Houghton College and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Nazareth College. She was an accomplished cellist, pianist and vocalist. Anne was a church pianist for over 25 years providing worship music for all kinds of church services. She especially enjoyed leading congregational singing. Her career as a music educator spanned 40 years, many of them in the Fairport Central School District as a string teacher. She spent the last 10 years as an adjunct professor of Music Education at Houghton College.
 
Calling hours Thursday 5-8 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Egypt Location, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport. Funeral Service Friday 1PM at Rochester Christian Reformed Church, 2751 Atlantic Ave, Penfield. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Fairport. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Houghton College Music Dept, 1 Willard Ave, Houghton, NY 14744.
