Edwards, Barbara “Bibi”


Rochester: Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 9th in Rochester, NY at the age of 82. Predeceased by her brother, Samuel (Nancy) Stevens. Survived by her siblings, Sally (Kit) Booth and Mary Stevens; her children, William (Karen) Edwards of Milton, VT, James (Deborah) Edwards of Rochester, NY and Kathryn (Mark) Fiedler of Breckenridge, CO. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Peter, Chris, Mark, Scott, Kelly and Lucy; many nieces, nephews and her constant companion and beloved dog, Brady. Bibi was born December 4, 1934 in Troy, NY, went to Russell Sage College earning a degree in Psychology. She worked as a sales recruiter for the Plaza Group of Rochester. Bibi loved spending time with her family, being a grandmother, family trips to the Adirondacks and was passionate about supporting rescued golden retrievers. The family would like to thank Khloe Philip for her constant care and true companionship that she provided for Bibi over the past 2 years. We are forever grateful.

    Bibi and I made many volunteer Home Visits for GRROWLS our local golden retriever rescue. She adopted Mickey aka O’Reilly from my foster home . Well done, my friend.
