Anderson, Constant “Stubby”

Macedon, NY: Died peacefully 8/13/2012 at age 88 in hospice care surrounded by family at his bedside. He was a WWII Marine Veteran, received the Purple Heart, wounded at Guadalcanal and was a member of the Rochester Honor Flight Mission #18. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (Sarnik) Anderson. Stubby trained race horses many years in New England and the last 20 years at Finger Lakes Race Track where he retired in 2002. He will always be remembered for his ability to make friends, his genuine love of people and always having a song to sing. Survived by daughters, Sandra Michaud (Newtown, CT), Cynthia Andrésen (Pittsford, NY); sons Robert F. Anderson (Sarasota, FL) and Carl Anderson (Macedon, NY); many grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

Calling hours, Thursday 6-8 at the Egypt Location. Memorial Service, Saturday 6PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints (2801 Temple Road, Palmyra, NY).
